Caddy & Daniel

The stunning wedding of Caddy & Daniel at Nuthurst Grange, Solihull, Birmingham

When I first got the email off Caddy 2 years ago I just knew we were going to get on like a house on fire. She found my website and said she felt like we had so much in common. I lost my dad when I was 11 years old and she had lost her dad too. Daniel is a Firefighter and so was my dad, so it felt right to her. She said she felt like she knew me and Ill admit when we met it was like meeting an old friend, it was filled with nothing but laughter and lots of chatting – mainly between Caddy and I.

Caddy and her Bridesmaids got ready in the stunning stable room. When I arrived it was very much laid back and chilled. I loved Caddy’s attention to detail. Her chosen colour was the beautiful rose gold. Her Bridesmaids dresses flowed in silver and rose gold. Nuthurst Grange was certainly the most stunning venue to go with Caddy and Daniels chosen theme. So light and airy.

When Daniel arrived the whole place seemed to come alive. There was so much laughter and I can honestly say his laugh and personality was very infectious throughout the day. Part of the theme of their day was Daniel’s love for the races which showed in their table names. He really made me laugh when just before the ceremony he revealed he had placed a couple of bets and the race was on during the ceremony which saw him checking his phone before Caddy walked down the aisle. Daniel and Caddy have been together 12 years so the ceremony was very emotional. It was clearly a day everyone had looked forward to.

Caddy and Dan’s day flowed beautifully with a magician entertaining guests after the wedding breakfast and speeches. I have to say the food was simply divine and it was the first time I had tried a mojito cheesecake!!
