Nicola & Jonathon

Hi guys – wow its been a while since I last blogged. Ive definitely missed it. Last year kind of ran away with me so this year I plan on blogging as many of my shoots as possible.

I photographed Nicola and Jonathon’s wedding last month on April 12th. It was at the stunning Curradine Barns in Shrawley. I absolutely love Curradine Barns. Nicola and her sister had done such an amazing job decorating the venue with stunning flowers supplied by their Aunt Pauline Jones and her sister very creatively surrounding the venue with stunning wooden boxes personalised for Nicky and Jon. They had even made their own photo booth area by painting an old unit and adding different wigs, hats and props. Nicky’s attention to detail was just beautiful. I especially loved how their tables decor was based on the years and momentous occasions throughout their life together complete with a framed photograph on each table. Just perfect.

The whole day was just perfect. Upon arrival everything was very relaxed and chilled. One of the reasons I adore Curradine is the amount of space in the Bridal Suites upstairs. Jon arrived shortly after in a stunning vintage car with a big surprise for Nicky. We all stood there with bated breath as she opened this rather large parcel – which turned out to be the Mulberry Bag Nicky had always wanted. It was beautiful and Nicky’s huge smile really did say it all.

Their son Louie walked Nicky down the aisle and it really was a very emotional moment for them all.  Especially Louie. Even made me well up. After the ceremony we made our way to the gardens for the confetti shot followed by canapes on the lawn accompanied by music from the fabulous Dan Greenway who I have had the pleasure of working with at many weddings now.

I always look forward to speeches and was not let down. The Groom Jonathon used to being a public speaker gave an amazing speech which was even more lovely with a beautiful and funny letter from their son Louie added in.

It was the perfect day and the weather was just perfect too. I absolutely loved this wedding and met some really lovely people. Here are a few of my favourite images
