If you’re anything like me then the lead up to Christmas is the most exciting part. Meeting Santa. Seeing the kiddies faces as they sit on his lap and receive their gift. Putting up the tree whilst listening to Christmas music.  Drinking Baileys coffee and dancing around the lounge. Putting the reindeer food outside. Getting the mince pie and milk ready, then when the kids are in bed on Christmas Eve stamping self raising flour footprints from the door to the Christmas tree….. its all magical but once Christmas Day has passed Im ready for the new year. Bring on January!!

This year has kicked off to a magnificent start with wedding enquiries and bookings. Newborn shoots, an amazing opportunity to second shoot for the incredible Kate Hopewell Smith this year and a collaboration with the beautiful Sallie Wyatt of the Worcester Community Trust setting up an event management company which helps children’s charities to raise money. I really couldn’t have predicted a more amazing start to the year.

Along with all the excitement of work the kids and I have enjoyed some cosy days in what with all the rain we’ve been having. Playing board games, baking cakes, arts and crafts and when the rain has stopped for a short while trips to park. Ill never tire of taking photographs of my children. I love to document even the most normal things they do. The following images are of nothing special but that I wanted to take the image at that particular moment. Capturing natural day-to-day behaviour is important to me. I think it still tells a story…
